Born and raised in Sawyerville, Alabama, Dr. Belinda Rhodes King—known affectionately as Dr. BeBe—has always had a heart for serving her community through compassionate, accessible dental care. As co-founder of Rhodes & Rhodes Family Dentistry in Tuscaloosa, she brings deep local roots, decades of clinical expertise, and a genuine commitment to patient-first dentistry.
A Local Leader in Dental Care
Dr. BeBe was born to Timothy Rhodes and the late Mary Rhodes and grew up in Sawyerville. She attended Akron Elementary and High School in nearby Akron, Alabama, where her love for science and community service began to take shape.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL, then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in May 2005—one of the top dental programs in the country.
After dental school, she returned home to Hale County to practice dentistry in Greensboro, AL, serving local families with care and integrity for six years.
In 2013, Dr. Belinda and her sister, Dr. Melinda Rhodes King, DDS, brought their shared vision to life by opening Rhodes & Rhodes Family Dentistry in Tuscaloosa, where they now serve patients of all ages with warmth, respect, and cutting-edge treatment.
